I've been playing a lot of FFXII lately, and LEGIT thought I had the game open in the background or something. I was so confused.

Hi, I am unfamiliar with Worbla. Can I heat it with hairdryer if I don't have heat gun?

Can a hair dryer get hot enough to work, if I don't have a heat gun?

What are the advantages of using worbla and crafting foam instead of just shaping and glueing the foam?
@lenax97982 жыл бұрын
Worbla is very good when you want to make something light but hard and sturdy. You can also shape worbla and it will stay that way, whereas foam won't. It's also give nice look to uneven cut edges of holes in the foam

What sort of paints can you use on this and can this worbla almost be vacuumed formed over something else with the heat gun? What I mean by that is if I was to make a paper mâché mask ( as I do regularly ) then place the worbla over that to shape it into pieces to give the shell/plastic effect that I'm after, would that work? Also is it flexible? I see you out that brace over your arm? Does it have some give so that you can open it up and slide your arm in?
@kennanderson61376 жыл бұрын
Crackshot Diva yeah, it basically feels like a thin plastic
@EpicAwesomeYo5 жыл бұрын
now why did you put craft foam in between the worbla? wouldn't it work without it?
@JessicaJolt3 жыл бұрын
It makes it into a thinker piece since Worbla is so thin.

Ive not used Worbla, but im guessing its too flimsy on its own - hence the foam sandwich. Plus it looks like the foam gives it more rigidity for shaping....

How hot should the geatgun be
@rockinHurley7775 жыл бұрын
Do you have to double layer it?
@stuffhappens44022 жыл бұрын
This video has the sandwich method there’s also what’s known as the fold method who’s saves time, money, and Worbla where you just put Worbla on one side and fold excess over onto the other side of the foam
