For everyone watching just remember to use post heat after installing it help the vinyl stick better and faster. Heat will tighten it so it enforced the longevity of the wrap

weird i thought cold tightens it heat loosen it
@yourmuda1188 Жыл бұрын
@@MoneyShifted he’s wrong, heat only helps in making it easier in applying it

Are you saying apply heat on the edges there after the Wrapp
@Tythetintman Жыл бұрын
@@yourmuda1188 so your saying heat don’t help the wrap last longer ? Wrap literally fixes itself in heat.

Bro keep the videos coming. This was great! Like someone else mentioned, it’s great to see someone relatively new to the wrap game do this, it’s more relatable.

It looks easy but I am telling you guys , for a beginner with no experience in wrapping , this is very hard to do it alone. You better ask some one to assist you. 😀

It helps a lot to have someone else helping you as well because by yourself, you can only pull in one direction, kind of, which causes the other side to make lines.

I was getting ready to comment that you should probably have a heat gun on deck and it cut to the part where you were using it lol. I have a black 2011 Cadillac CTS. I did a custom black mesh grill and deleted my chrome with 3M carbon fiber vinyl. 1080 or whichever one it was. It was the textured one, like real carbon fiber feel. That stuff is a real pain in the ass! No pulling up once it's down. Stretching will ruin the carbon fiber pattern. Squeegee a quarter inch at a time as you go type shit. It's an extremely sticky vinyl as well. Thought I would give you a heads up on that since you were cool enough to share your awesome video! Thanks bro, appreciate the look.

Thank You!! Very nice job!! This totally inspires me!! I love doing auto body repair-yes bondo-the whole nine yards. But, I found a major problem when I painted. No matter how hard or what I tried it was never how I hoped it would be. Ya, sure they color match to the # on the inside of your car door BUT they don’t have that color paint after it’s been weathered for 5+ years. Totally didn’t match. The clear coat was not even close to gloss (as stated). So I believe this is an amazing alternative to hassling with paint and still getting that beautiful glossy look that all cars should have. Thank you!! Keep on rolling out the awesome tutorials!! 😁

You can get a gun and base coat, clear coat, hardener, acetone/reducer, paint mask, and if you don't have one, a air compressor 3hp 25gal for under $250 and paint your entire car. I've seen professional jobs done with $10 air guns with decent paint and pro passable with $50 air gun using rustoleum paint. I've even seen an amazing job with rustoleum spray cans, used lime green about 8 cans for $70 and 2x clear coat cans that has hardener using around 6 cans. The 2X Clear spray used to be $10 ea but they went up to $15 ea which brings that up to $90 So it'll cost you around $190 to spray can your car if you include a duel filtered paint mask, sand papers 80, 160, 300, 400, 600 grit and 1/4" & 2" 3M masking tape. Use the 1/4" 3M autimotive masking tape for edges and bends and the 2" for connecting to news paper on windows/grill/plastic trim. Tip: You can put grease on chrome/metal areas you don't want to mask off so you can wipe off the overspray of paint right off before the base/clear flashes.
