I'm officially a fan of that wrap. I wasn't sure when it was just on the roll, but after seeing it on the car, it looks really good. Great job!

Holy Cannoli Don !!!!! That Looks Phenomenal Man !!! That is a superb result. Nicely done sir. I want to wrap the dipped section of the hood on my 22 Trail Boss in gloss or matte black. What would you suggest on film ? I probably need about a 4’x4’ section or so.

Thanks. 3M 2080, Avery SW900, and VViViD will all have something.

Great job! How much wrap would you use to complete the whole vehicle? I have a 2023 Escalade. The ppf I am looking at comes in approximately 5x50 ft rolls. Profilm diamond green. Thanks!

The roof will use quite a bit. My full size crew cab truck used 80ft. Two rolls should do it.

Nice job! I have never done something like this but was wondering if you think the wrap would work on the plastics of an ATV or how it would hold up?
@Donslife2 жыл бұрын
Smooth plastic is usually okay. Edges are where you have to be careful too. Usually the point of failure for most wraps

Don you seem to be a master at wrapping. Have you ever done an avalanche and the rear cladding? If not i would love to see you take that on. Id be happy to provide a doner vehicle ;)
@Donslife2 жыл бұрын
If you’re cladding is the grey plastic I am thinking of, I feel like it is too rough/porous for vinyl to stick well. Bring it by and we’ll have a look 😜

Hey Don, I love your videos. I just picked up a ‘24 Sport. I’m thinking about a wrap. How is maintenance as far as cleaning it? Can it be ran through a car wash? Having 4 kids and owning my own business, having to hand wash only is tough. Thanks for the videos brother!
@Donslife2 ай бұрын
It’s a great question. Many films will show scratches over time of you aren’t properly handwashing them. However you can find several now with self-healing properties (usually gloss). Of course you can ceramic coat films as well for even easier cleaning just like paint.

Great info! How do you keep all your vehicles clean up in Canada during the winters? That’s a full time job handwashing all of them. Haha

I usually bring a clean wash mitt to the wand wash (indoors) and give it a light hand wash if needed.

Wow looks great don. How much did you spend in total? if you don't mind.

Thanks 🙏🏻. The wrap material is worth $800 ish. Depends on sales and promos. The rest was my time.
