I would tape the edge while wrapping the handle. I use blue painter's tape and it removes easily and pretty clean. Cheers! -Rob

i dont think Paracord is a solution for poor handle design. we need to stop skeletonizig handles it dosnt actualy save all that much weight.

It doesn't!!!! BUT!!! like on the white river M1 caper.... the g10 scales... are substantial... you take them off and it makes it so light

The thing is there is a whole world of people who are survivalists and buy skeletonized blades specifically to do this. So it will never stop. Companies just need to offer after market scales like the Izula.
