Sorry to hear that you had a hard time. You're right, this binding method is suitable for thin and soft ribbons. If you use a thick wired ribbon, I recommend a simple binding such as cross or just horizontal way. Hello, I'm glad to hear that it helps! The length of ribbon depends on the size of the box you are using. Before you start, you can measure that the ribbon approximately wrap around your box. But if you use a roll of ribbon, don't cut it until the end. if you follow the instructions in the video, cutting ribbon is always at the end in any case, so you won't waste the ribbon.
