There's a lot of criticism in these comments but can we just silently appreciate how beautifully satisfying the person's handwriting is?

Criticisms are necessary for improvement. Takumi's profession is based entirely on improving his own handwriting. It's beautiful, but there is always room for improvement. One thing I notice is when he writes roman letters, the tops of the lower case letters rises slightly with each letter in the word. The letter itself is excellent but it's position could have a small improvement.

@@alexmiaoxy yeah…. the guy’s asian, he knows how our language is written. Traditionally, these languages are written with a brush, so calling them brushstrokes/strokes would be accurate. It doesn’t really matter what the strokes are called.

I find it interesting that Latin doesn't use accents (unless one wants to specify the tonic sylable of a word as in "Róma" or the length of a sylable (or vocal) as in "Rōma"), but in every language that derived directly from it, there are accents.
@ESCLuciaSlovakia2 жыл бұрын
Latin created all the letters it needed to express its sounds. Other languages took its letters and needed to add something to represent the sounds which Latin doesn't have. Also, in the past, some languages were using double letters for their special sounds and lot of them later changed it for accents instead: Polish stays in the middle and uses both accents (ż) and double letters (sz).
@calin54222 жыл бұрын
Romanian has no accents in handwriting, they are present specifically in some dictionaries, and I'm pretty sure it's the same with Italian
@fulana_de_tal2 жыл бұрын
In Portuguese the accents always specify the tonic sylable and how exactly it sounds, but there are very complicated rules about wheather a word should have an accent or not. There is also "à" that isn't considered an accent because it's only used in cases where the language would require for "a a" and only with the letter a. Then there's "ã/õ" that is also not considered an accent and serves to mark the nasalation of a sylable, it is only used with the letters a and o.

Well, the polish one is very good and totally correct. Yes usually poles say "polski" but the very official, dictionary way to say it is in fact "język polski" same with russian. I personally speak these languaves and they just used a formal way in the video. That is probably how they found it in a dictionary or had it translated by a translator. Great video and comment!
@KoczulMoczul2 жыл бұрын
@@intornetito2577 well, "język polski" is more official but I don't think it's the main reason why she didn't write just "polski". I would say "polski" is less precise because this word is just an adjective and you can say for example "polski aktor" which means 'Polish actor'.

So, if you want to write only "Russian" as you have done with other languages, you can write just "русский".
