My character's: - Goal is to see the people around him happy and safe - Lie is that he is incapable of making any change to the world at large and if he dares step out of line things will get worse - Truth is that any change consists of a sum of struggles to achieve it and he has to start acting and inspiring other people to action

Thank you for this! I’m working on various ideas for 3 stories I am writing. Idk which one I’m going to focus on more at first but I’ll decide when it’s truly necessary for me XD One of my stories involves a dystopian future where the characters all have a some-what similar backstory that lead them all to this situation in their current lives. Because of this, I’m struggling a bit on how to structure their characters while they are in a “medias res” plot structure. Thinking about their goals, truths and lies is helping me to put them in a better perspective now, so thank you!
