I took part in military competition in Azerbaijan for an interval of 8 days. I was reading FAQs of UGRAD and they said people with no prior foreign experience would be preferred and then I emailed them would it effect my selection. They responded and said,"No, this will not affect your candidacy for the program." Should I i mention that participation?

Don't exactly mention these words like it's unavailable in Pakistan. Try using different positive words like: It's not very popular in Pakistan or it's not as advanced in Pakistan like in the U.S or something.... and I would suggest to make your SOP unique and inspiring because there will be 30000+ Applications. Why You???? Remember that.....
