Hi there-incoming SLP student! Thank you for this video! Follow up question: is it necessary to state the goal? If so, would that go in the objective or assessment? Thanks!!
@qkun Жыл бұрын
Hi! Current SLP-assistant in training. You don't have to restate the goal anywhere, more so the target of the goal. So let's say a goal is producing /k/ initial of words at 70% given moderate cues. That's the OVERALL goal. The TARGET though, is the "producing /k/ in initial of words" That part, you would restate in the objective section because you're specifying what the progress was for THAT target. Say in today's session they only did up to 40% given max cues for that target. Your objective would be: "~~the client produced /k/ in initial position of words~~ at 40% accuracy given max cues." Again, you would not restate the 70% given mod cues, cus that's the OVERALL goal. 70% is not the progress for that specific session. -please lmk if that helped! Ik it's a little confusing 😅
@jazzyoslp3.0 Жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes, you want to include the goal in your notes so you can talk about progress: In the O-section you would state the goal + the data you collected that day. In the A-section you would use it to explain what you did in the session and the level of cueing needed for each activity. It does vary BUT that's typically how it goes :) hope this helps!
