Hi Kaelyn, just wanted to thank you for this video. I used your suggestions, particularly the for the introduction's hook and historiography survey, on my senior capstone. My professor said my paper was gripping and "absolutely fascinating" to read. Of course the joy of a capstone is that I got to choose topic I was passionate about, but going with your tips helped me craft a strong introduction! Do you ever utilize audio books? During a meeting about comps, another classmate stated they mainly use audio books and jot down notes. I'm not a fast reader and like to physically have the book, but I wonder if it's a common technique. Thank you for the many helpful hints for writing a history essay!!

Would this work as a topic for an essay about mythological events described in myths? I'm doing a pre-flood history essay for school and there isn't much evidence for that since 1. there weren't many people who believed in a flood and 2. there isn't much-written history outside of the bible and the book of Enoch (I apologize for bringing up a religious example, but it was necessary for me to make a specific point.)
