How do I get a comprehensive psychological evaluation. When there is parental alienation? I need to find a person in the Seattle Washington area. Thanks :-) Back story) I got this from American Bar Association panel on Parental Alienation KZbin video. It talks about this starting at (23:07 to 25:03) in the video. The Gold Standard Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation * Parties * Children expert testimony from a psychologist who's schooled in child: * development * attachment resilience abuse * parental alienation * family dynamics This is labor intensive and it's expensive and not all parties can afford that some courts can provide funding for it but without that the attorneys need to make a record of what has the conduct been: what have the parent * what has the parent been doing that is alienating: * is parenting time being denied * is there mist visits * is there bad mouthing of the targeted parent in front of the child * are others allowed to bad mouth the targeted parent in front of the child Parental alienation is so often fueled by anger and that anger often leaks out into * text messages between the parties and * really caustic social media postings That type of evidence needs to be documented and presented and admitted as evidence. So Judge O'Brien can make that best interest finding. That those behaviors are harmful to the child and make my determinations regarding custody and parenting time.

I wish I had stumbled upon this video before the semester ended, lol. The way you write your reports; I wrote my reports except for background information like attendance or student interview-we were never taught about that. I messed up the first time because I didn't include qualitative descriptors and performance on sub-tests, so I had to re-do it. I want to note I conducted assessments on friends and classmates because of covid. We used fake birth dates, and this was so hard. Thank you for this video. It reassured me that I didn't do as bad as I think I did.

Would you be willing to share a template of a report?

I thought the BASC cautions us not to share their intellectual property. In my program we were told not to copy and paste from the BASC, we were required to create our own tables

How is your assessment a psycho educational evaluation? If you are the only personal assessing? You mentioned you even do the academic achievement, so how would it be legally defensible if only one person is testing?

Hi Rachel! I find your videos and your channel super helpful! Thank you so much for making these videos :) I was wondering how many of these reports are due in a week, month, and for the year? I know this can really vary depending on how many students are being evaluated in a given time period, but was wondering a ball park figure :) Does this ever get stressful trying to pump out all these reports given all your deadlines? Thank you so much for your help in understanding this :)

Hi Julia! The weeks really vary, but we get about 12-15 referrals for each month, so that's the approximate number of reports due each month! Since I only do assessments, this number feels pretty reasonable, but for someone with a more comprehensive role, hopefully they would have less🙈
