Salem, you are so helpful. I love your brand color, my brand colors are purple & green. I've always thought they were to strong but stuck with them. So I'm happy to see how nice and professional they appear on your channel.

Salma, you are a great instructor with a clear and organized message. I have watched many of your videos lately. One thing that sticks out is mic room reverb. Until you get a chance to sound treat your studio, you could consider moving your mic (especially a shotgun mic) overhead and as close to you as possible, just out of the frame of your shot. This will let you turn down the input level while keeping your volume the same and reduce some reverb. Also, if you are using Premiere Pro, you can insert the audio effect "Adaptive Noise Reduction" then choose the DeReverb Single Source preset and play with it until you like it. You can drop it on your audio track mixer on your voice over track and set it and forget it. Super best wishes for your channel. You are amazing. P.S. If you hide this comment I won't be offended ;)

I am a new subscriber and started listening to your videos and joined your group last night. I just love your presentation. One thing we have in common is that I love to learn how to do something and teaching on it is the best way. Which of these elements will I use? Seems like I would want to use all of them! BTW, the numbering of the list doesn't match the video. You talked about 4 before 3. Thanks! Love watching you! Thanks for teaching us!

I need to work on my interactivity. I've started adding end screens and cards, but I haven't really planned out the cards, so I just drop them in when I'm talking about the subject of the card. I should start planning it better. Thanks for another informative video. At some point, could you do a video on making the most out of budget equipment? Specifically, I'm interested in making the onboard webcam on my laptop look as good as possible. I've come a long way with it since my first video, but could still use some tweaking.

I can even film without a script anymore, it saves me a ton of time filming if I've got what I'm filming structured ahead of time. That being said, I can barely read a script without glasses and 1000W floodlight pointing at it. Reading is hard... so is getting old. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go yell at kids for walking on my lawn and not pulling their pants up.

Now I'm curious - what does your video structure look like Mr. Frederickson 😂
@Daniel_Batal
@Daniel_Batal 5 жыл бұрын
1. Massive Hook (usually high production value) 2. 3 second CTA instead of an intro 3. Content 4. View hand-off after 75% where applicable (card) 5. Endscreen push containing collapsed video I've given up on letting my audience have any idea the end is near. No more hints of a wrap up. I'm still refining the 3 second CTA so that it contains more branding. My thought is that I want several different versions that are more specific to the content I'm covering in that video instead of a more generic "hit the bell" push.
@SalmaJafri
@SalmaJafri 5 жыл бұрын
@@Daniel_Batal Interesting. What's a "view handoff"?
@Daniel_Batal
@Daniel_Batal 5 жыл бұрын
If I have other content that relates well to the video in question, I'll try to extend the session by teasing it somewhere and handing the video off to another before it actually ends. For instance, "I actually dug pretty deep into that last week. If you want to learn more, I'll put a link right up here" **point up, cue the card** I'm exchanging what is usually the lesser watched portion of a video (the last 25%) by handing it off to something that might make them want to watch longer before that video is over.
