Personal statement advice can be really unclear and quite frankly sometimes totally wrong! That's why this episode I got Oli co founder of UNIRISE who has made a completely free course and done extensive research on what it is University Admissions Tutors are actually looking for.
Not your teachers! Not your parents! Not your friends! But the University themselves! Because research is showing there is often a disconnect between what people think a good personal statement looks like, compared to what Universities think.
Not only that, but Oli leads us through an an activity where you will have to judge which REAL example of a personal statement is best, and which is worst, so you can apply this knowledge to your own personal statement.
This is the first of 4 videos where we break down each of the paragraphs you need to write: The intro, the topic paragraph and the extracurricular as well as a few research based dos and don'ts.
