Hey mam this was my introduction today on the topic “ The Unexpected!” “Hurry up or you will be late”shouted my mother from downstairs,as she was an early bird. I quickly walked down ,grabbed my backpack and rushed down the street of my hometown to catch on my yellow school bus, nestled into the worn leather seat with cheerful face not knowing it is one of those days i will wish it was just a dream.

Greetings ma'am, is starting the essay question with a quote allowed for a narrative essay, but a quote that I made up relating to the topic being asked. For example, As a child my father would say to me"Lions that struggle together achieve greater together".( In the exam i would follow up i just made a quick example )

Mam how do you see /identify the the types of essays through topics for instance narrative, reflected etc

One topic can accommodate various types of essay ( combination essay). However there are discursive essay ( where examiners will ask you to discuss) or argumentative ( where examiners ask wether you agree or disagree with a topic) Beside the one mentioned above, it will be dependent on your approach when viewing a topic ( e.g you narrate and describe ) in an essay.

Ma'am in a discursive essay if you're given an essay that's like a prover (even the smallest star shines in the dark)do you start by explaining how you understand it and provide pros and cons or do you just dive in and compare and contrast literally
