Sir in first year, I got 8 CGPA. But in 2nd year both semester exams were mostly MCQ based (70 marks MCQ and 30 marks theory). In 4th semester, I got 9.2. Can I get 9 CGPA in descriptive papers as everyone says that 8 CGPA is one of the highest you can get. No matter what and how you write. Noone gives more marks than this. My friends also got around 7 - 7.5 CGPA in descriptive papers. Please clarify.

@@kdivine8627 it depends on teachers. I include both sides of a page and then it goes to more than 4 pages. Don't try to write in paragraphs but in points. Leave 2 -3 lines after completing a question. Focus on presentation. Try to make diagrams, if not possible then make charts and tables to substantiate your answer. You can make very short notes of key points to use them in flowcharts. It will increase the number of pages also. Highlight key words. Only then you will be able to get 7.5 CGPA comfortably. Personally, I write 6 pages in a long answer type question if you can't write this much, then your first priority should be writing the complete answer. In 5th semester exams, I again got more than 8 CGPA because of this while my friends who were equally hard working, after doing all the questions were reduced to 7 or even less.
