Thanks for your tips. For me, the most frustrating thing about creating tags is Etsy only allows 20 characters which includes spaces. Example, “Best man custom money clip” is over 20 characters. Wish they would give us a few more. 25 instead of 20 would be helpful. Most times I’m only 1 or 2 characters over

Your welcome:) in the case of “best man custom clip” I would probably take keywords that are obvious, like “man” in other words when it’s like “gift for her” I would take out “for” that way you have more room

That’s is a good idea, but I would just make all those corrections on new listings. It’s all about trial and error. But use the keywords that you collected during the 30 days of ads, there is still good data that you can try ranking on.

They do, overtime they will figure that out. However, tags are about creating efficiency for indexing.
