Damn dude, you nailed this. I've been a huge ETID fan from like 2001 and on, and was actually sitting here wondering if this was some B side from them that I never heard before when you first played it along with the drum track at the beginning of the video.

Oh man, you are too kind, I tried to capture parts of their style as best I could.. so much going on in their music though.. amazing and a real bummer they aren't around anymore

@@GuitarJoolz I would definitely say your try was a successful one! Yeaaah, I was super bummed when they called it quits. Thankfully I was able to see them live more times than I can even count, but unfortunately, wasn't able to catch them on tour for Low Teens or Radical. Oh well, at least their music lives on!

Cool stuff. I like how you explain the ideas they use and slowly show what you're doing to recreate it. These sorts of videos are always the most useful.

@GuitarJoolz if you're trying to learn a bands song, what do you do when you're tackling a difficult bit? Do you keep at it until you nail it, or just move on to other parts of the song, and come back to that bit later?

@@noodle845 always good to take a break with anything if the mind is melting.. but usually I slow down and isolate parts in Logic. I also use TAB's like everyone else occasionally but if you really want to be sure and trust your own ear - then slow it down. Also apply everything you learn to your own style, steal a bit and adapt your own musical flavour. But we are all beginners in this sport, always learning...

@GuitarJoolz yeah, slowing it down is good. I use songsterr quite abit, which is very helpful. I don't care about being perfect, as long as I can get close, that's good enough for me because i reckon, learning songs from different bands is more about building your own vocab to draw from, rather than being perfect. Unless you're in a tribute band 🤣

А ведь похоже получилось. Немного упрощенно какбэ, но вполне в духе ETID
