FYI the sound is muted for a few seconds when the All Night Long example plays. I'm sure we've all heard the track enough times anyway 🤣

this kind of piv sounds kinda insane, really basic melody note but sound selection and call & responses is pretty neat,really need a lot of time to get there for real
@SOTASounds_2 ай бұрын
Exactly, make it look a lot more simple in this video. But it's definitely worth putting in the time to master this technique for sure.

Great Video mate really informative, just wondering if youve got any plans to make any videos in the future that cover how to make bass sounds that producers like stussy, josh baker, sidney charles etc are using at the moment?
@willforman42893 ай бұрын
and also the best way to get a wide selection of different sounds?
@SOTASounds_2 ай бұрын
@@willforman4289 glad to hear it .Can certainly look into those sounds a bit more. In the meantime, I'd recommend checking out our Sidney Charles Bass tutorial if you hadn't see that yet 👊

Nice track mate! Where do you get your 90 style vocal adlibs?

Loads of different places tbh mate. I'd recommend our vocal tutorial if you wish to learn more, or our adlib pack for an easy solution: www.sotasounds.com/product-page/old-school-vocal-adlibs-sample-pack

Nice one mate. Mostly use a mixture of Diva & Repro-5 for those layers.

Great video thanks mate! In stussy his latest uncut episode with Locklead he uses some sort of randomizer (at 9:00) to create melodies. Maybe nice to show this in a future video?
@SOTASounds_3 ай бұрын
Thanks man. Watched that one recently. Might be wrong but I think that randomizer is built into FL Studio, which I've not used in years. Could possibly get similar results with other sequencers though
@landonh35353 ай бұрын
He's using FL Studio's built in randomizer. I am thinking all the new stuff Ableton added can do the same, it's just a lot less intuitive (for me at least).
