You generally don't need IRB for a case report as it is not research, but you might need a patient consent.

Google scholar is a database, not a jorunal, no? You should look for journals in the specific field of the case you want to report.

Hey, I am going to appear this year for match. But, I’ve no researches yet. I graduated just this year 2024, I’am from PAkistan. I’ve my usmle step 1 passed, usmle step 2 ck score 270+ and OET is also done. I’ve no US clinical experience. I’am going to do one observership this summer. Can you guide me like how many observerships should i do? Is it observerships/electives the thing that really matters or is it the LOR’s which matters (like LORS can be from local clinical practice and also from observerships)? Please respond
