I get error please add account in MIUI settings in Mi Unlock tool no matter what version I use. I already added my account too many times but it won't detect it. Will creating new account with same phone number help remove this problem

For me it was totally worth it, since I don't really like Miui. Yes it does come with risks, but as long as you do your research(read a lot) and keep following on the tutorials you should be fine. Anything else your free to ask me, and I will point you in the right direction! Take care man.

Make sure you have set "Recovery Phone and Email" in your Mi account. Mi Unlock Tool requires both filled in before you can sign in.

@@samc125 apps won't be saved the data can be stored by shifting all the Image files , audio , video files & rest can be stored by logging into the apps that's why wherever its necessary link your accounts & write your passwords somewhere shift the contacts to your Google account & also remember its password so you don't loose it take a book write all the passwords & emails because after unlocking the bootloader everything will be blank just like you factory reset or format your phone you'll just have whatever was pre-installed in your phone you need to again set it up , login in to your accounts & install the apps again like how you do after getting a new phone
