I tried this, copied it to a usb drive, put it into a windows 10 computer, and unzipped it without it asking me for the password.

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me. I’m on Mac, and I notice in windows version, they have the option to ARCHIVE file by right click and then compress a file to zip and they have the option to choose “COMPRESSION METHOD” option which has a list of “Store, Fastest, Fast, Normal” etc. that’s what I need on my Mac.. I can’t find an option to choose “Compression Method”. I need that option because I want to “Store” my zip file. Any advice would be helpful.

i saw somewhere a way to excluded the extra files that mac adds to zipfiles when I compress a file on mac and try to open it on window. could anyone reading this comment please help? thank you.

So there's a website(mac-torrent) where u can get cracked mac file. But it needed to have a password in order to open the zipped file. Can i use this method to open it? Thanks

Unfortunately no you cannot. This video is for how to create and unlock when you know the password. Be careful using stuff off that site as a lot of it is nasty malware.

HELP!!! I've tried several different ways to get a file unzipped, but it keeps coming back and telling me "unsupported format". Can you offer any suggestions? This is an update for a sound bar that has to be unzipped before I can upload in to the bar. TYIA
