Honestly the fact that Tom Holland was excluded from the Marvel group photo at D23 but he still requested Bob Iger’s email because he simply wanted to thank him for the time he’d been a part of everything really says a lot about his character. Even though he was clearly heartbroken over the whole situation, he was truly grateful for the experience and just genuinely wanted to show his thanks. this interview is so near and dear to me. i’m from cleveland and being a huge fan, i was pretty shocked knowing tom was in CLE. i got to meet him once and see him TONS of times while he was in cleveland. it was an incredible experience. hearing tom say he loves my hometown (even if he may not have meant it completely wholeheartedly) makes me so happy. miss that time of my life a ton!!
