i listen to other songs often and analyse them like you recommended in another video this helps me. what would also help me is to have insight on pro so songs projects to see the structure and the elements that they use and when they use them.

I have had serum way before vitals existed. Vital is a very capable synth and can make some amazing thing Serum cannot;)

Is all of this information applicable to the Reaper DAW? I'm just starting this journey and, in the past, I've only used Audacity for recording music. The reason I ask is that I don't want to buy Ableton when I can just download Reaper to give this a try.

I had the same problem. But I figured it out. Maybe have a look at www.readyformasterclass.com and watch trance build up class. Use trance2022 to get second masterclass for Free 💪🏻
