When people aren't playing the game mode they are allowed to do what they want. The mode is described and designed as an open world extraction survival mode, not a typical zombies mode, they want you to do contracts that's why they respawn endlessly

Ya I was trying to complete the last mission on Act 2. It was completely overwhelming on solo. I did pretty damn good going in not prepared. Until a huge monster came out and attacked me. I think I was at the end. Died immediately, then lost everything. My containment level dropped from 89 to 40. I've had to replay the contracts over and over. It reset my characters 7 or 8 times. I hope they fix it soon.

The best part is that as of recent, they've actually improved exfil camping. Now the longer you stay in game, larger hordes spawn, making the game feel like it's actually reactive to the storm growing It makes players go out and do things in the mean time, like contracts or easter eggs then go to the exfil to camp. I think they should've done it like this from the start, but alas they had to mess up twice before *in typical activision fasion*

They should have just put a limit on how many times one can call for exfil. On the last exfil, if you fail to exfil, your collected XP gets cut to 1/3 of what was obtained.

If it was really about exfil and quality of play, you're exactly right. Horde downs you or you miss exfil, ok, reduced zombie count to make it easier. A teamate misses so you get off to rez them, make it even less. After 3, drastically cut zombies, and XP. Simply put: First Try Exfil Team XP bonus. Cut to 50% on 2nd attempt, 25% on 3rd, nothing afterward and nearly no zombies will spawn (like it is now).

You can still get a decent amount to spawn as long as you join groups to get a 6man, the more player that are in a group it appears that effects the amount of zombies that spawn in Exfil

so long as the exfil point hasn't gotten used in a while (or at all), your FIRST exfil is still likely to be chaos at its finest. big hint at a potential chaos swarm is if there's already a dozen or so shamblers in the vicinity of the exfil point when you get there after that? not so much.. but still good for upwards of 75 kills or so, with at least a few hellhounds or manglers if your by yourself. its why I wait until usually 5 mins before the storm starts expanding to start any exfil farming Im going to do
