My money says the pitcher was Lucas Giolito and the catcher was Carson Blair. On Giolito's 9th start of the 2017 season he threw a 7 inning no-hitter on May 25th, and Carson Blair (who caught that game) only played 36 games for the Charlotte Knights that season before being released. Especially because Giolito had a CG no-hitter in that game, and Eric Sim slipped up and mentioned a "CG no-hitter" at the very end of the video rather than the strict recollection of events told in the story.

Really good stuff here. There’s so many hilarious stories to be told regarding baseball. We once had to pick the lock to our van in juco because we locked the bucket of balls in the van. Coach wouldn’t give us the keys. Practice was in an hour and if we didn’t get the balls we were just going to run poles all day. Us being the psychos/future criminals we were, we had the balls in the dugout 20 minutes later.
