I had horrible chronic swelling and developed under eye bags after getting tear trough filler The filler also migrated to other areas up under my eye and along the bridge of my nose. The filler was still present 4 years later when I finally had it dissolved which left my skin stretched and deflated. My next step is to see an ocular plastic surgeon about getting my lower lids done. I am praying that will do the trick.🙏🏻😊

Hi Farnaz, Even if I know other cosmetic surgeons, we all have different practice focuses, and different aesthetic styles. I suggest you look for a surgeon who performs transconjunctival blepharoplasty, which is a lower eyelid surgery that involves no external incision, as it is a specialized technique that shows they are focused on cosmetic eyelid surgery, and this approach avoids common complications associated with external incision made in the lower eyelid. I also suggest you look at their before and after pictures to get a sense of their aesthetic style. I hope this helps you.

Hi Pandolia Braziliano, Fat under the eyes cannot be dissolved as it needs to be surgically removed and sculpted. Some slight cases of eye bags can be treated with filler to camouflage, but if the puffiness is severe and you use filler, the problem shown in this video happens. Dissolving the fat under the eyes can cause vascular compromise, inflammation, irritation, and even blindness. Eyelid surgery can be done for long-term effectiveness, and can be done safely, quickly, and comfortably. If someone has acne, does that involve more risks with taking tear through fillers? I have very thin skin and feel like I get bruised easily, but also inflame easily. If I have a wound somewhere it often becomes a small infection and after that a scar. Also any acne I have ususally feels very large under the skin and inflamed and leaves a small dark scar on my face. I finished an 8-month accutane treatment one year ago. Is there more risk in under eye fillers in this case? I have bad eyebags and would love to get fillers.... Also I am only 21 years old... I am just really scared of making things worse instead of better when I get under eye filler. Is it possible to do a small test on whether a person will react to an under eye filler with bruising or swelling? without doing the complete procedure?I hope you can answer this question for me.

Hi roos caanen, If you have been off of Accutane for a year or more, then it is safe to have this type of treatment. It's important to have this procedure done with utmost sterility so no bacteria from the skin enters with the needle. Bruising usually occurs from the trauma of the needle , not the filler material itself. The likelihood of bruising shouldn't dissuade you from the treatment if you really want it, as reactive bruising is common, and it is temporary. I hope this clarifies things for you.

My Problem is lines across the cheek close to eyes. Under the eye looks puffy. My dr put Cercarelli fat loss injection under the eye. It is now looking worse. Plus she put filler u der the eye to combat the hollowness. Do you think I should dissolve the filler ? My face looks flat.

I had filler done for eye bags which gave me bruising & swelling for a week. I’m Going on second week & it looks the same if not worse . The tech advises adding more filler ? Is she correct or ripping me off ? She split one ml & I’m very unhappy with the results after a week . I haven’t been able to go out like this . She suggests waiting another week and adding more ? I use PRP to help thicken lower eyelid skin, hep with ethnic pigmentation, increase blood supply and circulation, and treat iron deposits that may be causing dark circles. What do you think of hyaluronic acid filler with radiesse (calcium hydroxyapatite)??? It seems really good but I still want your opinion and do dark circles and the hollowness get worse when it wares off? Also I am afraid of blindness can it cause it? Hi Like Idk, Radiesse is not a hyaluronic acid filler, but a gel suspension of calcium hydroxyapatite. Radiesse is not advised for the under eye area as it is a thicker filler, and does not move as well with facial expressions as softer hyaluronic acid fillers. It also cannot be dissolved like hyaluronic acid filler, and calcium hydroxapatite is not fully metabolized by the body like hyaluronic acid. Blindness can be caused by any filler being injected directly into a vessel, so the doctor's technique is very important in avoiding this. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Hi@@princesssapphire3444, Sorry to hear about your problem. Radiesse cannot be dissolved like a hyaluronic acid filler because it's not made of hyaluronic acid. Radiesse is made up of calcium hydroxyapatite, which is a material similar to bone. While it is only supposed to last 1 year, the material can stay in the body. It may require surgical removal, but not all the material may be removed. I do prefer hyaluronic acid fillers over Radiesse because of the problem of reversibility. I hope this helps you.
