I had the opportunity of meeting him at Pakistan consulate in Toronto on 16th of August 2017. A very humble, polite and decent man. I had met Samina many years ago when she had just married Usman and they used to live opposite my sister's house in New Garden Town. Usman talked to me about financing a movie he wanted to direct. With the passage of time, both have turned out to be extremely talented, and decent human beings. The interview was an enjoyable reminisce of the life of Lahore in those good old days.
