The mantle and bonnet look so warm and comfy! Out of curiosity, how does cotton tulle feel? It looks more drapy than its synthetic counterpart, is it less scratchy as well?

Cotton tulle is drapey if not starched. Even synthetic tylle comes in several varieties, some of them are soft (like the one used in bridal veils) and some are really hard and scratchy. Cotton tulle is a wonderful material and very soft against the skin. You can imagine what it feels if you have ever touched delicate french cotton lace.

As usual your work is beautiful. I love your can-do attitude, it's so refreshing. Your dress and accessories look absolutely wonderful and the setting at the Museum is perfect. Thanks for posting this video.

Thank you! I tend to think that when making something, one shouldn’t ask whether one can do it but rather ”how one does it”! You can always find out and learn!

Thank you! I really think that the process and the history are the most interesting things. Otherwise the garments are just pieces of clothing.
