I can relate to life getting in the way of creativity, health going downhill and time being consumed by other responsibilities. But it always feel so refreshing and liberating to sit down and work on music. Simple setups are deceptively great for these moments. It's not too overwhelming, it's fun, and great sequences seem to come from just playing around and finding something on accident. I really enjoyed this jam. The bassline will be stuck in my head for quite a while, it's really catchy. Especially with all the modulations keeping it interesting. Great use of the keys, too. I like how the melodies dictate different contexts for the bass and drums. Great work, as always, really happy you keep jamming!

The moments of depression and wanting to throw everything out of the window are so well known to me. Life is eating away my health and inspiration again lately and it all seems to lead to nowhere. Then I listen to your jam and realize what it means to me to have your videos playing. And what I may mean to someone out there some dark day as well. I think that will reinforce me again, and I hope knowing what you do for others makes you keep on going too.

I'm just starting and I have restrained myself for similar reasons. Now I'm in the mindset "to hell with everything, I'm going to make something, even if it's just noise". I got inspired by videos like yours to get th fm and bass, I'm in love with them and now I get more inspired more often.

You might like the Sample 2, as it works well all by itself, since it holds 200 samples - and you can make fun stuff in minutes. It's my fourth Volca and I use it the most.

We all go through highs and lows, so know you're not alone. I've really enjoyed your music and have so far picked up a Microfreak, NTS-1, 3 Volca's and planning on picking up the Bass. Have my eye on a few other synths, too. Keep doing what you do. Stay strong!!💪😎

Reading your description about what brings you back from the point of giving it all up. Selfishly, I feel sadness that I would miss out on the joy I feel when coming across a new video of yours , brings me inspiration and makes me feel safe in the world knowing there will be more content . When we don’t know that at all…and we clearly take you for granted . The fragile relationship between a creative man and his inspired talents , together with their muse. Man, I was all a bit meloncholy for a second… and then , at 2:16 that PO33 dropped in with the funky break 🙌and everything is right a universe running its course 🔥

Refreshing sounds! The keys sounds excellent layered over the bass. I’m inspired by your description. I have felt like quitting before, too, but I always get the encouragement I need to keep going. I also struggle wirh finding time, but when I’ve recorded something I like it makes me happy. When it makes other people happy I don’t want to stop. Thank you for staying on KZbin and sharing your music and thoughts.

You are one of the few Tubers that are actually musical in your skills. But most musician are too often doubtfull of them selves. Maybe it have to be that way, to rediscover (begynners mind) music time and time again. Thanx for sharing!

Awesome stuff. Limitations breed creativity. I'll take hardware with a good user interface over something with limitless options buried in menus, any day. Thanks for the jam.

"For me, this was mainly due to time and health reasons." Can I tell you that I understand? I may not know your pain exactly, but I do understand. I have Ankylosing Spondylitus. Basically... hips, spine, neck and shoulders all fusing together as one fragile piece. I may mentioned on one of your other videos that your work is inspiring. I will also say, seeing you working with the Volcas helps me with mine. Please, don't give in.. keep coming back to the Altar of Music.. explore.. make mistakes.. grow. We're with you.

I enjoyed your feedback very much. I am so sad for your pain but i can say ... life teaches that for every pain there is fun or joy somewhere. You just have to find it. You are a really cool guy. I am proud to have you here.
