Home Free did a great cover of one of my favorite Bonnie Raitt songs. Adam Bastien's voice was perfect for the lead. Everyone sounded awesome in the background vocals, Rob with his bluesy sound, Tim's bass & Adam's vocal percussion. Looking forward to more of the new songs with the newest member.

Welcome back! We've missed you. Love your appreciation of #homefree. You have to see their mashup: Thinking Out Loud and Let's Get It On. As for other artists, you shouldn't miss Eva Cassidy's covers of Over the Rainbow and Autumn Leaves. I'm also a huge Bill Withers fan. Have you heard is I Can't Write Left-Handed?

I follow Austin and am looking forward to seeing what he does next. I'm also looking forward to seeing/hearing more of the energy and smiles Bastien brings to the group. Have you thought about reacting to their Home Away from Home " or " From the Vault " ( behind the scenes) videos? Thanks for the Home Free reactions.

Having seen them in concert on the fall tour, Adam B fits in very well. Different voice, but he holds his own, and has a great energy on stage. For someone new, have you heard Faouzia? 24 yo Moroccan born singer songwriter. Her stripped songs , tend to be big dramatic piano ballads . Try something recent. Her official video “Fur Elise (Live performance)” or something from Singer2024. From that Hunan TV competition, her covers of “Desert Rose” or “Love on the Brain” are popular. Thanks.

Love this great #HomeFree cover of this Bonnie Raitt classic! Check out David Phelps and Voctave - you won’t be disappointed.

I'm going to suggest some Home Free adjacent stuff. First, check out the individual guys' solo channels and "topics" (when they upload songs without videos to the various streaming services, including KZbin Music, it doesn't go on their channel but under their name as a topic). Tim has put out a whole album of doo-wop songs and has some videos on his channel. Adam Chance has started putting out a song a month and is working on a solo album. Since if these have videos and some don't, so be sure to check out the topic Adam Chance as well as his channel. Some of his originals are fantastic. Austin is currently fundraising for a 15-song album of his originals, but has some great stuff on his channel (and topic) already. Adam Rupp just put out an original solo -- no video yet -- called The Rise of Robo_Rhythmo. It's just him, a looper, and a bass guitar (which is among the many instruments he plays). And finally, check out more of Adam Bastien with his hubby Jerome as OneUp Duo / Bell Bastien, with Chris Rupp's post-HF group 7th Ave, and his solo work. Now, wandering further afield, you definitely should look at friends of Home Free, The Hound + The Fox. Reilly and McKenzie Zamber are a married couple who do mostly acoustic folk music. They've done multiple collaborations with Adam Chance, as well as some with Tim Foust and one with Rob Lundquist and his podcast buddy, Buegs. Then follow Chance's friendships out a little more and try The Longest Johns. They're a folk group out of England who do a lot of sea shanties, which Chance is a fan of. A few months ago, they were doing a US tour, and one of their singers had trouble with his visa, so Chance stepped in with a couple weeks notice and toured with them for a couple weeks till the visa issue was sorted. Rob doesn't do solo stuff, though he has done a few collaborations here and there. But if you're a fan of movies, he and his college buddy Buegs do a movie podcast mostly revisiting older movies that are having some significant anniversary. They frequently have friends on as guests, including all the Home Free guys at various points, Home Free's crew, the Zambers, other a cappella singers, and so on. It's very much The Home Free Expanded Musical Universe. There are more folks, but I'll stop there.

I am opposite of you with Voice Play and Home Free. Home Free is #1 and Voice Play is 2nd in a cappella groups. I have a group for you to check out. They do covers and originals and are unique with their style. They are Walk Off the Earth. They became popular years ago with their video cover of Gotye’s “Somebody I used to know” which features all 5 on one accoustic guitar.
