Lol, when I bought my sled at Compau's in Fairbanks (largest dealer in the US at the time 'he claimed') 26 years ago he said when I asked about break in on my new summit "Ride it like you stole it for the first 500 miles, then it will power up 20% and you have to get used to that". Worked perfectly, I was always imagining being chased and blasting or braking. Then the power came up and I was surprised and happy. He was a big time actual sledder. He has won the Iron Dog (3000 continual miles with a or two mandated sleep stops when they really actually wrench on their sleds) from Anchorage to Nome and then to Fairbanks. Insane race. I think he also won the Iron Man sled and ski race which is also insane.

Thanks for extremely helpful video! Drove from western ND to southern OR to pick up this same sled just before Christmas. My Summit X Expert is amazing! But, They didn’t offer any of this info or ask me to customize the suspension to my weight. Maybe that one is on me… And I’m pretty sure they sold the sled I put a deposit on in early November with the 10.25” screen out from underneath me. That being said, I’ll be buying my next sled from you guys. Keep em’ coming!

Wounder, how many dealers really do that pre delivery points?? I will test my next new dealer. Will pick up my new 2024 BC xrs next week. None of the dealers last 25 years have finalized that checkup. I always had to clean up delivery oils clutch and muffler area at least. Once did my muffler ignited to open flame on a 2016 summit t3. I also forgot to clean it 😂 Very very very hard to find an ambitious dealer in North Sweden.

Question.... I have a 2022 khaos slash ... had the break recall done got it back from dealer here in Minnesota and when they did the reflash it took the sled out of break in mode.. should I be concerned? Trade it in? Check engine light comes on doesn't pull up codes... also had to bring it in one other time cuz wouldn't start... was a zip tie around throttle body....

When the 850 Rotax was introduced the big claim was this engine would last as long as a 4 stroke engine, looking at adds for 1 to 3 season old sleds this is obviously not so many have new crate engines mostly under warranty

2018 850 e tec, 4k miles. Zero issues. I think the people that blow their engines overheat the shit out of them

This is ridiculous, Break in is all controlled by ECM just ride the damn thing and don’t be one of those guys 😂 trust me BRP isn’t going to let thousands of sled come back for warranty engines, it’s pretty dummy proof

Sorry, we are going to need to see your credentials before we trust you. I would bet we know BRP better than you ❤️

@@gforcepowersports why cause you’re a dealer ? Please…you guys hire kids to assemble and move sleds around then you bs on KZbin about your routine sled assembly, same old story with all dealers. I bet a lot of people would agree

Most reliable sled with the most power. Don’t buy one if you want to actually ride it😂
