It was impossible to cut out. I now know to turn off notification sounds. 😂

I have a question, when I tried to move or rotate a C channel the interior Holes in the C channel never move with the metal piece what is the solution?

You need to fully select the part by double clicking or selecting it from the side bar. If you only click once it wont select the full component

what if instead of computer aided design in fusion 360 it was called computer aided 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓼 and instead of designing robots to play high stakes in fusion 360 we all designed robots to be 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 with each other

Where can I get the files for the High stakes components like the mobile goal and rings? I have been searching and couldn't find any. Btw this video if really helpful since I'm new to CAD Thank you!!!

Full field CAD is on the vex website, you can separate the elements you need from there. www.vexrobotics.com/276-8868.html?queryID=a7e4aab67d4e1d8e6f5d054ea44484c8&objectID=4684&indexName=vex_m2_vexroboticsca_products I can't directly link file downloads here for separated parts but this method works fine

high strength shafts are sold longer than 12 inches how do you modify it so that you can cad vex high strength shafts are longer than 12 inches

How do you paint parts? It wont let me since its already kinda colored

For a lot of our metal pieces we find it easiest to edit the color of the existing appearance to get the look we want. For gears or other linked parts you will have to break the link in order to do this

kb.vex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044338912-CAD-Resources-for-VEX-IQ This is the only library I'm aware of, it should work for most CAD softwares

Its more relevant when using joints. You can move the joint around then revert back to the original position. For VEX stuff you usually want to hit capture whenever that shows up.
