Epson C5790 comes with pigment inks. You initially used the original pigment based inks and then switched to dye based inks. You didn't clean the print head first. Doesn't it damage the print head or clot it?

they are very different in print output. epson l4260 using L series printer a normal one. while the wf c5790 is using a precision corehead

Are you using dye ink? I thought this printer uses pigment ink.

I dont think they care lol. honestly tho, on plain paper, any ink works. Generic dye inks are much cheaper. Its photopaper that you need to be careful with... If you use cheap and shit pigment inks, when you touch the paper after printing, the pigment ink will just come right off and the photo is spoiled. Ive experienced this and have switched to expensive third party pigment inks because of this. Looking back, i should not have bothered, because the expensive third party inks cost the same as the original cartridges. i hope this answers your question.
