When I was single it was super important for me to see other godly couples and hear their stories. I was encouraged that there were people trying to do it God’s way. I wanted us to share our story to encourage any other unmarried peoples who are wishing to date now or in the future. Godly men (and women) DO EXIST!
Again, this is not meant to be THE WAY you should date as a Christian, this was just our experience. In this video, we share what we enjoyed about dating as well as things we wish we would have done differently. Dating, courting, whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God! This is a wonderful conversation. Do you have advice about family and parental involvement/guidance/ acceptance/ recommendation in Christian dating? What’s your advice to couples who haven’t been obedient? Do you believe they’re meant for each other or should they seek others and start anew? Do you think even quicker engagements are better... that if you truly believe the Lord has brought you together that you know and that’s enough to marry quickly?

Sudan touched on men and the issue of infidelity during and after a wife’s pregnancy. Would you share your conversations with men, red flags, advice to women, practical ways in marriage for women (communication styles, love languages, careers, parenting, sex, balancing time, issues with money, etc.) How did you manage during the pandemic lockdown? This was sooo good. I love the journey of how you courted one another, including God in your process and admittedly saying how some issues of lust did surface, but, yet y’all maintained the absence of sexual activity. I know that was hard. We can all say, what we won’t do while in singleness, can you maintain when he or she starts connecting with you in courting. Again, this was so much needed in today’s world. Oh I feel you! I’m 25 and living with my partner but we have both just become Christians. He is always playing ps4 and I really struggle to know if this relationship is what God wants for me, we are both now being celibate for marriage but it’s not easy when the relationship didn’t start with God.

But as i realized that the person i was dealing with wasnt willing to change and follow the Lord with me, thats when i knew that a decision had to be made. I loved that person alot and wanted our family to work but i began to watch Christian advised videos on youtube and i was very convicted. I knew the life i wanted to live and that was following God and not following my sin anymore so i left and temptation did come and i did fall many times back into sin but God delivered me from that sinful path and now im completely free from that life i was living and im currently now living an abstinent life from sexual immortality and im waiting on the husband i know God has for me. Its a struggle at times being single but theres no going wrong with waiting on the one God has for me.

Thankfully my partner has submitted his life to God as well and he is starting to righteously. Before we became Christian’s only a month ago, the past 3 years we would fight a lot and our relationship was very toxic at times, that’s why now as a new Christian I’m praying for God to reveal to me how to renew our relationship and if he is the right man for me to marry. God has already been transforming our relationship so much with patience for each other and kindness and abstinence.

Very much Needed! I am in a friendship/ relationship now that’s been going on for 3 years. I’m 20 he’s 21, he has the right mind set about marriage but lack of maturity and discipline to carry out what that looks like. I’ve prayed for God to literally take him away , but for some reason he’s always there fighting for what we have. Thank you for sharing the weak moments. I feel that it was important to mention the sexual attraction.. Especially from when you shared that before, he was more like a “brother” and that you were not attracted to him initially. Sex is apart of marriage and I could only imagine how difficult It would be to engage with someone, whom you view as a bother/ without that attraction… Some people in the Lord would like to say that, sexual attraction towards your betrothed is sinful and that one is in the flesh… But God created sex, therefore he also created the desire……To your point… desire not Controlled by the Holy Spirit definitely leads to lust. It’s important how we decide to conduct ourselves after the desire is noticed and it helps the relationship when you both agree to purity.
