Fun fact: building a teleporter before they shoot will make them shoot that. Paired with the Eurika, you can place 8 in a row, letting you get enough time to reach them and gun one down. This only works when one is in view at a time.

this reminds me of a game I had around two years ago. I hopped into a casual 2fort server, only to be greeted by teleporters and dispensers. the teleporters took me to BLU's intel, where there 11 engineers, all with sentries set up, not doing anything else. I was, of course, extremely confused, and asked what was going on, to which the people said "BLU is all bots". Well, except for a single scout. after a while, we all started moving into their spawn room, placing the sentries right up in their face. that scout I mentioned earlier was now completely trapped, he couldn't do anything but die and respawn, like the bots. We were essentially just farming kills, and noone could stop us. eventually, I left, but every once in a while, I think about that game.

I remember a while ago I was in a 2fort server where bots started overwhelming the enemy team and started kicking non bots. What happened back then was the craziest thing I've seen where I started as the only engi to defend the base then more engies appeared and we all started building up a defense and moving up to the bridge with our sentries and teleporters and dispenser. We eventually got able to spawn camp all the bots in all the spots they could spawn and we were like "Keep defending!!!" while someone became scout and quickly went and won the game for us That was probably the most chaotic bot encounter I've had and it was amazing how coordinated we were to stop all bots.

I love the Team coordination, reminds me of when i played Dustbowl with the enemy team being bots, while we were defending. All of us were just hiding behind our dispensers, with a help from our medic and other classes, overall we won that round And then it was OUR turn to attack, it was damn hard as hell using vaccs and heavies, and also 2 scouts, despite all that rough shit. We won the whole match.

This could be it's own custom game mode. It could be called "Gain Ground" as a reference to the classic sega game where an AI captures soldiers in a vr war simulator and you need to slowly move up and fight against the ai forces. If a soldier dies you instead stay on the battle field frozen and in order to get that soldier back another soldier needs to put themselves at risk to pick them up and carry them to the goal in order to be revived.

Another Strat that I found is before moving into bot prone areas, send a group of scouts that crowd around the bot to distract them. One time I was in a match where the opposing team was all bots and me and a group of 4 other scouts just collectively swarmed wandering bots, bonked them with our melee and taunted after every kill

For anyone curious a soldier stack with the battalions works pretty well for the offense in an operation like this. As long as you time your banners right you can block the instant headshots and let the engineers push up to the spawn rooms

Oh my god, a similar thing happened to me several weeks ago. It was enclosure casual, second stage. Bots had flooded the server and everyone on both sides left except for me(I was playing sniper)and a demoman. We were on defence, and the bots had pushed up to the final cap of the second stage. So, that demo and I held them off; I hid around a corner in sight of the cart with that large pile of boards in front of me. I would snipe off any bots trying to push the cart and duck so that they couldn’t kill me, and the demo would trap the cart and push out to kill any bots. We held out until the bots all left, probably due to lack of players, and new actual players joined soon after. So that’s how we defended enclosure from bots.

Amazing, red was filled with great players A few ways I could see this being optimized a bit better is during the early push when you're still defending base, use a bonked scout to *scout* the area to see if it's safe from snipers or not so you can proceed with expanding the territory
