I think you should try the PU. There is probably a market for it: Vegans for example (or people like me, that can't be bothered to service their gloves). You can probably give the prototype to some heavyweight in the gym to abuse them in all ways imaginable, see if thei can cut it. I have a pair of Rivals and Flys and their hold on pretty well. I personaly am quite partial to the mexican gloves but to each their own I guess.

We have tried the PU before and although it sells, it does not last very long in gyms compared to leather, I cant bring myself to charge almost £200 for gloves that cost £5 to produce, I think its ripping customers off, maybe soon I will have another try

I hope you will keep option (black/gold) color choice for the new hybrib gloves and I will buy it in the future. I am using a pair of pro fighting gloves foam padding in black/gold they are so nice and classy.

I'm waiting for the club lace up gloves in 14 oz. But now this hybrids catch my eye too. I'm looking for a long time for something with horse hair inside not spending my monthly salary. Do you consider to skip UK taxes for the oversees shipping? It would be helpful not to pay double taxes.

We can try and send as a gift if we know its your order, unfortunately there are some corrupt postal officials in many European countries who try and ask for "tax money" we have found this in Germany, Spain and the Netherlands
