My knowledge of Gib goes back to my RAF service in the 1970's. My mistake was not moving there 40+ years ago when I could have afforded a decent home.

I've lived in Gibraltar for 30 years and it is a nice place to live, just a shame that all the photos you have posted of you enjoying yourself are not in Gibraltar

Paying £4K is absolutely alright if you are on £150K per annum. I was there, as I work for iGaming I had some interview and I clearly remember Ocean Village. It is expected to pay a lot for that place. Now, we are thinking to move there again. If you are in iGaming, I am happy to connect.

As a British national you have the right to live, work and own property in Gibraltar. The only problem will be getting a job and earning enough to live, well it would be for me at least otherwise I would had already done it myself. Best of luck for your future plans.

Winter is dec jan feb. It’s still pretty mild though. Gib is so small the season doesnt really change where you would live. Personally I love the south district.

@@goranradonjic2369 Buying properties in Spain allow to have non profit residence Easley. It was before possible to get full residence by buying houses but now it’s over. However you can open a company and get investor visa.

The British, or rather the English, have not yet realised two things. The first is that they are no longer an Empire, but they should not despair, because this is a process that takes a long time. In Spain, after several centuries, there are still people who have not realised that the Spanish Empire no longer exists. The second thing is that they must understand that when you leave a club, you cannot continue enjoying the privileges you had when you were a member. Gibraltar only has two options: either an external border at the port and at the airport, with Gibraltarian and Spanish police, or an external border on land. In this case, crossing that land border would be like crossing the border of a third country into an EU member country. Time is running out. Spain will be forced by European regulations to establish a hard border on land if an agreement is not reached on the control of access to Gibraltar by air or sea. Neither the EU nor Spain can allow access to the Schengen area to be in the hands of a non-EU country. On the other hand, I believe that most Spaniards know that the destiny of Gibraltar depends on the will of the Gibraltarians and as long as they want to remain British, Gibraltar will be British, but the Gibraltarians must also know that one cannot want to have the advantages of being British and of being Spanish.

Agreed, its crazy and you can get something cheaper but for a 3 bedroom in Gib it’s very limited. I’d prefer to pay a bit more and live in comfort. Financially our tax savings more than balance the difference but the aim is to buy asap.
