Big fan of you, I’m going to TCU for ranch management just because I few months ago I was listening to your podcast. Family runs waygu and we use ricebran 12% corn and brewers grain for our steers to get them swole for processing. Definitely love this informative videos looking to learn as much as I can thanks Tucker!

Anyone can feed cows but only a few know how to feed properly. We run 2800 fats 500 cows and my 90 year old grandmother still makes our feed charts.

@@trenttaylor6422 we have looked into it. What do you think makes it worth it the investment?
@trenttaylor642217 күн бұрын
@ yes it’s an investment will need new Bluetooth scales and most likely an iPad to swap between tele and mixer to keep track of loading. First no more paper and way less math. The digitalization will not require any writing on the hand or remembering values. You upload rations into the software and it will keep track. Loading is easy just switch between ingredients and it tells you how of each. When delivering you’ll select the pen and it will already know how much the pen gets you’ll just watch the scale like you do until it gets to zero then confirm and go to the next pen and do the same. It also keeps stats of ingredients which is nice to see.

Where is all that feed stored?
@tuckerbrownrab18 күн бұрын
@@lisaclancy3372 the silage is stored under a tarp. The cotton burrs are just on concrete
