How we get bats out of houses and KEEP them out

Why are bats now coming out in the middle of the day?? Yesterday it was very bright and sunny and the sky was clear and the sun was very hot and i saw lots of bats flying around.

It will be location specific. As bats are hibernators, sometimes when the weather warms up in the spring, they get motivated to leave and fly looking for food (insects). This can sometimes cause them to deviate a little from their normal nocturnal behavior. White nose syndrome, which is devastating bat populations, can also cause them to arise from hibernation and may force them begin feeding or looking for food. Bats require a ton of insects when they are active so they may be just looking for a quick meal in the early spring. Not a concrete answer, just a theory. Thanks for the great comment! -Ryan
