How We Grew Thousands of Pine, Eucalyptus & Casuarina Trees From Seed To Seedling in 2021

Growing our own tree seedlings was one of the most important projects we undertook in 2021. Each of the 3 different types of trees is sown and grown differently and we started out with little idea about how to nurse commercial trees.
This video shares how the Mondo Farms team set up our first tree seedling nursery from June 2021, from potting to germination to pricking out to grading and even hardening. We successfully raised enough pine, eucalyptus and casuarina seedlings to be able to plant hectares of land across Winterthorn and even sell some to customers.
