Ben is a deep thinker/introspective. He knows when to "hold 'em" and when to "fold 'em". Maybe that's maturity, and it comes with age and living. (I lOVE Ben's hair).

True! When I was in my 20s I was such a hot tempered person. Now that I’m older I don’t let the little things bother me and I’ve become a lot more patient.

In regards to the Subway incident, please remember he is a little older than you, and him needs to go to the bathroom right away. It should be a priority . I am glad you guys talked about your differences. Sending love from the US. 🙏🏿❤️ 🇺🇸

I really think it’s a man thing. My husband is the say way, they can’t hold pee. He says once it starts he can’t stop. We have had similar disagreements. It gets annoying and inconvenient at times but I tell myself he does it for me during a certain time of the month when I can’t wait to go to the restroom.

As a person who have been married for thirty six years yes communication is the key. But u have to pick ur battles don’t knit pick about everything. Always take the time and reflect on ur self see if a being selfish and make a change don’t control each other no adult wants to be controlled. When ur partner is angry if he or she ask for time respect that. Love is the key and it’s an action word. Love is kind, love gentle, love, don’t get it own way.take ur pride out of it sometimes we a very prideful and that can be a big issue in relationships. I pray God will bless both of you.

When you're already agitated/anxious, the worst thing to hear is someone telling you to calm down. It riles you up even more. So I totally understand your situation. It used to drive my husband crazy when I said that. I've since learned to keep quiet and just let him chill out or walk away.

I love seeing you as a couple. I see a lot of comments mentioning the age gap. However, I dont think that is the case 😅 Maturity depends on life experiences, in my opinion.... No relationship is perfect. It's all about finding the right person to fight for... As long as you keep communication alive and try to be considerate of eachothers feelings, the disagreements are a learning process. Good luck and I wish you two a lifetime of happiness 😊

Sounds like a genuine relationship. I’ve been married a while and learning to respect how your partner process things that bother them and giving them space to do it is the best thing. Also understanding your not perfect and had a part in the issue is affirming for the other person. You guys have great conflict resolution which is essential for a healthy relationship.

From your video it’s clear that you’re both in love with each other. It filled me up and I got quite emotional. No one is perfect so no couple will be perfect. As long as you keep trying to understand each other, set aside time each day if possible to discuss what’s on your minds and how it makes you feel. Giving each other time to understand how the other feels, keep showing love, respect and consideration then with time your disagreements will be less and they will resolve much quicker. Love you both🥰🥰🥰

The solution is communication and also to understand the other in its difference. No one should keep urine, because it puts pressure on the bladder and it’s not good. It’s better to relieve yourself and then take the train. An incident can happen and the train stops what do we do then if we can no longer restrain ourselves. I think you need to continue to communicate better and understand each other. Plz Lucy try to calm you down lol. Ben continue to love your Lucy ❤

I was with the father of my kids since I was 20 years old. I wanted that relationship that my parents had that love because like my mom I love with every breath of my being I give 100% or nothing at all but he cheated the entire 20 something years with multiple women not one and I try everything to make it workat the end of the day I packed my stuff and leave. I wish I had that love my mom had with my dad but I can see it in the two of you. Communication is key give 100% or nothing at all take care of you.

I don’t believe that it’s an age gap. More off a personality issue. Still I love that they are communicating and trying to understand what’s making each other angry. It will get better as their relationship grows.

Having a temper doesn’t mean necessarily that we need to seek therapy, temper and anger issues are two completely different things. Everyone is different and having someone calmer when you have a temper is a balance. But most important communication and working thru the issues is the ultimate way for a successful relationship ❤️ Thank you Lucy and Ben for sharing this, and Lucy honey I’m also a wild horse and guess what ? Pretty proud of it ❤️ It’s beautiful to see your love ❤️
