I was soooo close to getting one but we took in another rescue so the space went to a new bed area in my utility( aka dog bedroom for 4) as she is 48 kilos currently. Great idea.

@@EmmaHill She is one of 4 Spanish rescues. She’s a malinois x Spanish mastin , super clever with Scooby doo vibes. Added a profile photo of the tribe…guess which one, lol. 16 months old. Still gutted I don’t have a dog bath but we’ve just built the house after demolishing so I’ve a walk-in shower downstairs anyway.

Our dog is 20 weeks old now and I now fully understand why there's a need for a doggy bath. Washing your dog in a free standing shower is a wet experience for everyone 😅

True. Since we still don't have a doggy bath I simply end up delaying my own bath until all my boys are washed, dried, and warm. I would be soaked and full of fur anyway, so it makes a lot more sense to do so!

Using a very basic thin strap harness with the end on a hook can help keep small dogs from jumping out and can still be easy to clean underneath the straps.

I can't recall off the top of my head but I am sure its mentioned either in the video or description box 👍 However it is also custom made so you could make it smaller/larger to suit your need 👍

I have been wanting to hired a contractor to build a dog bath in my laundry room, but every dog bath I see is low like this one. Am I the only one who thinks that you should be able to stand up straight while bathing your dogs? I find that when I’m able to stand straight while bathing my dog, I have absolutely no back pain. My dogs have a lot of hair…so the entire process of bathing them takes more than an hour, so,bending down for that long it’s just not good. For me personally…I need the dog bath to be higher… almost at a waistline level…so I can stand straight and move my arms freely with no pain.

You could have included a drawer below the bath to include a doggy grooming storage space.

We have a cupboard next to it with all their bits in so I wouldn’t have to move out of the way to get in the drawer. But also as the drain is underneath the drawer couldn’t have been very deep x

No it’s the perfect height for me for standing and for sitting on my stool. And higher and it would have been dangerous for the dogs and I wouldn’t be able to reach when sat on my stool 👍🏼

Emma, question about the dog bath’s height - why didn’t you guys want to make it higher, so that you don’t have to bend over whenever you give doggies a bath?

We did discuss this but decided to opt for the lower height in case any of the pups jumped out 🤦‍♀️ they aren't a fan of bath time and so are always trying to escape and we didn't want them injuring themselves if they did manage to jump out 👍 but the height is of course adjustable depending on your needs, and can be made higher if you wanted to as the frame was purpose built to accommodate our preference.
