Hey, Kristine. Here's a tip for the socks. You can separate socks by person and put them in these mesh bags. You wash them in there and they won't get lost. ☺️

I love how she teaches her kids to be responsible and teaches them basic life skills that some kids don't get to learn. I know for a fact her kids will grow up to be good people and teach their kids the same.

There is an easy solution for the mismatched socks. When the kids need new socks, get each child a pack of the same socks so they will never need to match them up again. You can just put them in a little basket and pull out any 2 loose socks. I started doing this a while ago with my own socks and it is so much easier. I do have 2 sock baskets, 1 for regular black socks and 1 for white anklesocks

I don't see a need to separate laundry as it is wasting time and water. I don't use pod style laundry detergent as they really don't dissolve. I only buy Arm and Hammer Laundry detergent works fantastically. I only wash laundry on cold, and my husband varies as to how he'll wash his stuff.

I would have the older kids do there own laundry. Like Alyssa and david should do their own. The twins could do theirs together. and then you could do younger kids clothes . Its nice when you learn to do your own then u can just wash your stuff whenever and not wait around. When will Chloe get her own room? She seems old enough now. You could have Owen and Michael share and Chloe get her own till Jade is old enough. That way you dont have to worry about 2 lil ones in your room. Defiantly need some time together with no kids in room. I bet Chloe would love her own room.
