My wife and I met during Octoberfest in Germany. We're not religious people but both of us r Catholic. She is an American born from St Louise, Mo. I was from 👍Manila Philippines. We're married twice one in Civil n second in Catholic church back in 1993. I enjoy your video because it remind so much like us. Back then, a Filipino marrying American woman was almost unheard at that time. I like young generation because they r more open to try something different, specially Filipino food. Hold on each other, it's priceless.

I came across you guys when your video was in my feeds. Watched a few, mostly about cooking both in Philippines and Germany. Then naturally, I got curious about how you met. And here it is. Thanks for sharing. It’s a simple but beautiful love story. Lived in Deutschland for three years. Also had to improvise a lot of ingredients to make Filipino food. But I vividly remember that on Christmas, carp was the popular food to cook and the only time the store had the fish in abundance. I always wondered what the history of carp as a Christmas food.
