Love, love, love you guys! It’s all about the commitment. My husband and I are married 44 years and have 2 wonderful kids. My son, 37, is married with 2 beautiful sons. I pray, do novenas and pray some more, for my beautiful daughter, 31, to meet a loyal, great man like her Dad. Where are these good guys? She deserves nothing but the best. I’m Italian, my husband is Russian and was my next door neighbor; so Mom “interviewed” him while I was at work…he was 👍ok. Lol. so he asked me out to play tennis and the rest is history, as they say. 🙏🏻 My daughter is as fortunate as we are!!!

The best part about you two (who are lucky) is that you are humble and were quick to say "do like this IF it works for you". I love you both for being so REAL there too much fake going on.....thanks mauro for saying this great happest familiys don't typically exist I'm a "realist" and i shot my mouth off speaking my mind. From little Italy in New Haven, Ct. you our like our extended La Familia we lost.. we are more happy now. My husband and I are still together for 30 years. We had a huge Italian wedding on the beach, people still talk about everything venvenetian table cold seafood outside bar everything . We had many Italian family family happy memories but than it came with ups and downs when i was out of work , than a a big disagrement in an Italian family and boy did we suffer especially living together. We used to believe Italians never separated their own familiy but it didn't happened this way . My Italian familiy father in law had mental issues. Some things are just unforgivable to hurt when kids are involved . actually tried to manipulate a divorce action when we lived with them and intentionally pay for it over a fight they over heard in their home over financial mistakes her own made and we are still married now. I don't belive in divorce right away yes you must try to work on things and that's just what we did. We went off on our own we worked harder than ever before . I believed in family values however culture is a small part of the picture. It takes a lot to leave toxic large family especially involving social factors had to do with mental health who deserted us, we x communicated with our Keep your posts coming we enjoy them. No one deserves to be mistreated especially with grandchildren no less, plus, other factors come into play. In many way you remind me of how happy we all once were . When together we made our own wine and everything ... we used to enjoy each other that's a big part of why we are connecting with you both love you both don't realize how important this is to us....!!! I made it back in my career in Property mgmt but. Sorry this was so long. Keep these going it makes us happy!!!

Your love story makes my heart happy. Brian & I met 47 years ago. We met @ a bar ( I knew I was going to marry him), we celebrate the anniversary of our first date ( that’s more important to us) we have three children too! Two daughters & Then our son. People will ask us how, do you have a successful marriage. Brian’s answer is “ you have to choose your battles”, @ the end of the day we still go to bed together.

You 2 are so cute. And so right people are too quick to call it quits on marriage. I was engaged at 16 lasted 2 years i ended it in the june of 1990 & met my now husband in the August we got engaged in April 1991 for my 19th birthday and married in may 1993 3 weeks after my 21st birthday we are still going yet we argue and fall out but we work it out we compromise marriage is about give and take its not all one sided fits all its hard sometimes but anything worth fighting for is hard.
