I will say on the "fear of channel degredation" point - my interest in Smash has definitely not stayed constant over the years since finding Little Z and the Underdogs, I'm not currently particularly engaged in the game. What brings me to the Underdogs and the individual channels for the group is the approachability y'all have. Throwing up videos from y'all while I'm working, or playing a more casual game to have something in the background has racked up a ton of views from me specifically on your content. I know its stage presence to some extent and I don't really know any of you at all, but it's become a comfortable habit for me to just find a video to throw up while I'm doing something. Working out? Find a longer video. Playing Slay the Spire? Throw on a video and change it when it ends. Working on writing repetitive test scripts? Have something going in the background. Even if I'm not paying attention to the gameplay, the Underdogs and their individual channels have become a routine for me and I don't see that changing even if my interest in Smash totally dies - at bare minimum I know I've stopped following other creators as my interest in what they focus in on lowered, so that's promising at the very least.

Yeah I'm not as much of a Smash viewer anymore but I still watch every Underdog video for the dynamics and legitimately get invested in the games based on how much I root for the boys. Plus I love the other content! The IRL sports have been really fun and I LOVE the Mario Kart videos.

Funny thing is, Zack's old car has been featured on the Underdogs and Little Z channels before (I think it was in the Mario & Sonic at the 2020 olympic games video aswell as the homerun or run home challenge video). Damn, I can so relate to the Travel thing there Zack. I've always wanted to travel out of the country (U.S.). Ideally I'd like to go to Japan, but Scotland, England, and Ireland have also interested me. After a few years of saving up living with my parents and working shitty retail, I finally saved up the money, bought a passport, bought some books on learning Japanese, and then planned ahead for a flight. Well, shit happened instead. My family got into some financial troubles and I threw almost all my money at it to help fix it. Naturally, my trip was cancelled and my desire to learn another language took a big hit because I got so discouraged. My desire to go is still there, but ever since then it's like shit keeps repeating. I save up the money, get ready to leave, something happens that demands my money. I got a new job (Thank God) to make more money and save as much as I can. Shit still happens and every year a little part of me dies because I can just never go. It's super depressing...and now we have COVID to worry about too, yay! 😓 And now here I am, 31, wondering where the time went when I was still 20 and eager to leave. Not saying I'm too old to go but I mean... it just doesn't feel like it'd be the same. But, uh, mild Segway away from the depressing bit: you should totally do Underdogs D&D! You guys are funny and creative enough to make it plenty worth watching!
