Because it was taboo. I’m 60 years old and it is still difficult for me to see myself with a person of another race. We have been separated talked to be separate I’m talking if you have one drop of black blood and you you were black, so it is a big deal for even the baby boomers generation maybe not so much for your generations today but that is why it is such a big deal. It is still hard to understand the light a lot of black women struggle, so hot black women raise your signs and they still marry why women it’s just like black women can’t get a break
