I love the board trick...100 bulbs per 40 meters...gives me a great idea of the space needed for appropriate tulip planting !!! And the board keeps you from damaging any of the bulbs you just planted when covering the section you are working on. .. Just perfect. Your information is so valuable !!!

Have had my 15 month granddaughter all week so enjoying your video with a glass of wine. We have a small vegetable garden at our Texas ranch (with donkeys and Texas longhorns) so watching your videos are strictly for enjoyment!

That is how i do it here in Alaska though i only do 500 tulips. Got mine in the ground November 5. I just cut mine for enjoying inside since it rains so much here and normally destroys them outside. Good job on yours.

I’m very small scale and only have 600 tulip bulbs to plant! Lovely video, thank you, and I’m so hoping that you will make another one to show us when all your tulips are in bloom. I’m always interested to see the varieties other growers have and what works best for them.

Love your tip on GENTLY adding the soil at first over the bulbs. Does indeed keep them from tipping over! Ask me how I know 😉

There is always something to frustrate gardening plans. I am battling squirrels. Cayenne pepper is a minor deterrent, and mentholatum or Vick's vapo rub works if applied to the edges of pots. However squirrels are efficient predators of seeds and small plants. I'm afraid they may be smarter than I am, but I'm more determined. I think I am. I think I am. I think I am.

Georgie, do you not have any pesky little rodents, squirrels or deer to fret about? I’m trying to plan my tulip planting bed with these rascals in my yard in North Carolina, USA. Your tulip beds are so nice with loose soil.

We will lose some to mice - hopefully not to deer or rabbits as we have proper fencing to keep them out x

With your charming personality I would dearly love to see the handsome face of the man that made you his very own. Fabritzio is a romantic name and I love to say it and hear you say it, I’m sure I butchered the spelling of it though. Tally-ho y’all. (I live in South Carolina, USA)
