Whoever disliked this video should feel ashamed, we started trying some of these methods for our dog, then I saw your video glad we were on the right path thank you for sharing this with everyone. On top of this I would add alkaline waters and foods as much as possible. Stay away from anything acidic

It’s a horribly beautiful time because you love them more than ever, but you know it can’t last forever. Just remember that it’s ok to not be strong all the time, and be sure to give yourself time to heal when the time does come (I grieved for far longer than I ever expected and fell into an unexpectedly guilty year-long depression after I lost my boy). I believe I may have cushioned the blow if I knew that was a possibility. BUT for now, he’s here. He’s with you and you have each other. Make each of these days count and have no regrets moving forward. It’ll be the best thing you do for both of you. I believe we all get one “soul dog” in our lifetime, sounds like you’ve also found yours. Now here I am crying again…

This is a wonderful story and I’m so happy for this positive result. My dog is currently going through the same experience, it’s heartbreaking as he is our world. My problem is the massive costs a holistic vet charges to help maybe save a life, it’s the biggest problem with our society, someone can help you but only at a high tax! If your so good then you don’t need to charge a fortune to put more stress on people or limit who is able to save their pet. The system we live by is not good for progressive improvement to life. It’s interesting because some of our local standard vets came on the phone, looked at the X-rays and provided free advice and care, their costs for surgery are more affordable yet the holistic vet wouldn’t entertain anything without money! I want to try this approach as my dog means the world to us but through life experiences it’s hard to trust people especially when they are driven by financial gain rather than love and kindness! Yes I understand they need to make a financial living because this is how people choose live by however it’s disappointing that they have to make it so difficult to have access to.

Hi April, thanks for sharing Colby’s story. As a vet nurse, I understand every dog treatment is different. Unfortunately, I am currently seeing ANVC for my dogs cancer diagnosis. May I ask if Colby was on any pain relief medication at all? If so, what? Thanks so much.

Hi Mandy, I am so sorry to hear that you're going through this. We found that most pain meds actually made him groggy and appear worse off. We did use the occasional Panadol, as well as weekly acupuncture, which seemed to help quite a bit.

my 83lbs goldendoodle got his frot limb amputated on may 28th about a week ago due to osteosarcome in front wrist. I dont give him any more kibble. I been feeding dr harveys paradigm food for about a week and he loves it but its too expensive cause I still have to add protein and fats. its costing me about $300 a month. I was looking into sundays and if I read right it will be about $179 for a 144oz box that will last him a whole month. Just dont know about nutritional value.?

Imagine we didn't live in an evil world where pet food suppliers and producers weren't always trying to cut corners and make a profit at every stage. The same can be said for human food producers and suppliers. The governments in all of the corrupt countries have a hand in this too. It just makes me sick that we are all subject to this garbage. My dog will likely die soon because of years of being poisoned by food we were told was safe and healthy for our various pets. We even go with the more expensive options to try and give our pets a fighting chance, but even a lot of those are hiding chemicals and poisons that shouldn't be in there. We are trying to make changes now, but the bone cancer has already hit a late stage, and its going to be tough to turn his ship around. He's my baby boy, and he's going to die earlier than he should so that a variety of corrupt jerkoffs can make a profit. What a sick joke. Im so infuriated by it all. 😢

My dog has lymphoma cancer. The doctor gave her 3-6 months and has her on strong pills called prednisone. I feel uneasy about the side effects on her, but obviously we want to keep her alive as long as possible. Looks like you guys went full natural and no prescription drugs correct? Also, did the raw diet help a lot? I would really appreciate the help. Trying anything and anything we can to help our Arya. She’s a 9 year old pitbull that we can’t begin to think of losing.

I too have a pitti only 8yo, June Bug! She has osteosarcoma. We were told in January 3 mths or less. We are now in month 7. After feeling like we had no hope at first, it's like God just landed research in my hands. We went all natural as much as we could and are staying that way. As we are living it's hard to get your hands on things good for dogs. We have CBD oil in from vetinary secrets, Dr. Jones (also here on KZbin), and cancer supplements shipped from McDowells. They are in Australia. Yes it is expensive but helps to keep her living. I can say that my June Bug's tumor is starting to grow rapidly. However, April listed in the description box the different supplements she used on Colby! She too is in Australia.

I am going through this now with my 6 year old Doberman, what was the final outcome for this dog if you don't mind me asking?

We made it an additional 2.5 wonderful years after his diagnosis. We lapsed with his CBD over Easter (shipping delays) and within days his tumor tripled in size. In the end, it wasn’t the cancer that got us, rather the way the tumor forced his tendons to pull his foot underneath it. Our final time together was planned, calm, loving and relaxed. While it was finally over for him, the next five months were the hardest of my life and far, far more difficult than I could have imagined (I wouldn’t have wished them on anyone). Please know that grief and guilt are ok and normal, and that in the end you’ll be ok. Different, but ok. I found some peace in the book “It’s OK that you’re not OK” and recommend it to anyone who is going through this. My thoughts are with you both.

@@AprilVokey Thanks for the reply. Yes it's hard I have been through the grief of loosing pets many times and always say I'm done then get another. It's even harder when they are young. I'm follwing your diet but it looks like we are going to do stereotactic radiation with it on the leg tumor. Skipping Chemo and amputation. This is my favorite Bible verse 1 Corinth 2:9 'Eye has not seen , nor heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things God has prepared for those who love him.' I got a feeling for 'those' we are going to have all our pets back in the Millenniall reign of Christ. Which may be soon lol
