I try to be accepting of change, but the new camera angle may be just a bit too much and too radical. I'm not sure the world is ready for that one. 😉

Great choice 👏🤩 Congrats!

An entire video can probably be done regarding the studio monitor stands alone 😂. It’s great to make the best of what you have to work with and within your budget.

The bass tone sounds amazing. I guess that works. 😃

There’s a lot to take away from this video, but the three finger “disco” octave pattern will be my new struggle for a couple weeks 😅

Love the UAD/Brainworx SVT. The Brainworx V-4b and B-15 are great too. Sometimes use Brainworx bx_bassdude for broken up Fender Bassman-type tones. Some others I like are Softube's Lemmy Murder One Marshall Super Bass and also their Amp Room Bass Suite (also has an Ampeg-ish model). Also Mixwave's Ashdown EVO 360 mk III. Neural DSP's Dark Glass & especially Parallax are indispensible, for harder styles. There's some saturation plugins I like for having in parallel with the D.I. signal too, with the bass/lower mids removed from that saturated side channel: Softube M.A.S. Overstayer, Vertigo VSM, BlackBox HG2 & Arturia Dist Culture. Overloud GEM LA is my compressor of choice, usually in LA3 mode. I prefer that on guitar and bass to the UAD one, though I like the UAD for vocals.

So is it ok to get a decent interface and plug into it and play through monitors instead of buying an amp if we are not going to play live ?

Is the bass anchored into some kind of stand or frame? Tell us more!?

that's the K&M 14760 stand. For musicians with should/neck issues or to have second instrument ready in stage to be played at any moment

if the plugins and interface hardware are now so good... do you think transformer-based preamps are a thing of the past?
@basstheworldofficial6 күн бұрын
Absolutely. Many are still attached to their outboard gear, they spend a lot of money and it sounds great. But it’s redundant by now and has already disappeared from most productions

Play some Wolfgang Petry! Just kidding. I might have to try this interface out. I'm still using a Line 6 Tone Port from circa 2005, and it probably doesn't cut the mustard anymore.

Does gregor actually play bass, or just likes basses and makes a living out of it? Not saying its wrong either way, I'm just curious. Never once did I see him to do anything with a bass but to hold it.
@basstheworldofficial6 күн бұрын
Of course I play bass. But these videos are much more enjoyable to watch with these pro players. I have played many times over the years. Check the Gregor sucks at bass series

Im considering selling my Apollo because it's not USB class compliant, you can't just run in off USB-C, it requires all this bloated software ☹
